Here in the Northeast, it gets pretty cold this time of year. If you’re like us, you’ve probably found yourself wishing (on more than one occasion) that you could spend your winter someplace warm. With the pandemic still raging, traveling is not a realistic or safe option right now, so we’ve had to get creative at home.
Thankfully, our friends at Coral Cay Distilling have us covered with Tommy Bahama Island Gin. With delicate notes of juniper, fresh cucumber, grapefruit, and spices, Tommy Bahama Island Gin will make you forget you’re cooped up at home in front of your space heater and whisk you away to a tropical beach! Here are some of our favorite drink recipes using Tommy Bahama Island Gin. Enjoy!
Grapefruit & Rosemary Gimlet
In an ice-filled cocktail shaker, add 1.5 ounces of Tommy Bahama Island Gin, 3-4 ounces of grapefruit juice, a squeeze of lime juice and a dash of rosemary syrup. Shake vigorously and pour into a salt-rimmed glass.
Island Sangria Sparkler
Add the following ingredients to a shaker with ice: 1 ounce Tommy Bahama Island Gin, 1 ounce sangria mix, ½ ounce lime, and 1 ounce egg white. Shake vigorously and then strain into a glass before topping it off with rosé and a lime peel for garnish. Delicious!
In a shaker, muddle 4-5 fresh raspberries and ½ ounce of simple syrup before adding 2 ounces of Tommy Bahama Island Gin and ¾ ounces of fresh lime juice. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously before straining into a glass. Top with a raspberry and a slice of lime for extra fancy points!
In a shaker, add ¼ cup Island Gin, ½ cup pineapple juice, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Shake vigorously and pour into a glass before garnishing with fresh pineapple chunks for a truly tropical experience!
