Tarapacá Gran Reserva

Hemmed by the Maipo River on one side and steep Chilean mountain ranges on the other, the Tarapacá Estate produces wines enjoyed in every corner of the world. In a small valley, protected by nature, the terrain hosts diverse soil profiles, each which provide their own ideal growing conditions for globally favored grape varieties.

Carmenère

Expressive and intense, this wine reflects the great character of Carmenère from Maipo province in central Chile. It has fresh vegetal notes alongside ripe fruit aromas, such as plums, blackberries and black cherries. Soon, floral hints like violets begin to appear along with spicy notes like dill, cloves, black pepper and vanilla. It pairs well with pastas and creamy sauces, vegetables and oily fish such as tuna and salmon.

Cabernet Sauvignon

Aromatically intense and fruity, this wine reveals notes of dark berries and plum, which intermingle harmoniously with hints of black pepper and bay leaf. The oak aging lends this wine pleasant sweet notes like caramel, toffee and vanilla. It’s well-structured and medium-bodied with good length, ripe, rounded tannins and a long pleasant finish. It pairs well with cheeses, red meats and mushroom risotto.
